Honda Motor Co. said a cyberattack has disrupted its internal network and brought some factories around the world to a standstill.
Production has been halted at car factories in Ohio and Turkey, as well as at motorcycle plants in India and South America, and the company is working to fix systems, spokesman Hidenori Takeyasu said. Japanese operations weren’t affected and Honda’s other plants in the U.S. have resumed manufacturing.
The disruption comes as manufacturers have shut some offices and plants and let staff work from home due to the coronavirus pandemic. Carmakers have slowly started to ramp up production around the world after countries gradually began lifting lockdown measures put in place to halt the spread of the pandemic. Honda resumed operations in the U.S. May 11, and had planned to reopen its U.K. plant this week.
Production at the factory in Swindon, England, will restart Wednesday, two days later than planned, a person familiar with the situation said.
Honda said there’s no indication of an information breach and the impact on business will be minimal. A spokesman for the company’s North American business said it isn’t aware of any loss of personal information and that output had resumed at most plants in the U.S. The automaker is “currently working toward the return to production of our auto and engine plants in Ohio,” spokesman Chris Abbruzzese said in an email.
Honda’s two car assembly plants in Ohio have a combined annual capacity of 680,000 vehicles, more than half of its total automotive production in the U.S. Those factories make models such as the Accord sedan and CR-V crossover.
Other industries have seen rising cyberattacks during the outbreak as well. On Sunday, Singapore Technologies Engineering said its unit, VT San Antonio Aerospace, recently discovered a cybersecurity incident where a group “gained unauthorised access to its IT network and deployed a ransomware attack.” Last week, ship builder Fincantieri SpA confirmed that servers at its Norwegian unit were infected.
The U.S. was hit by a record volume of ransomware attacks in 2019 and hackers have shown little sign of relenting in 2020, when users spent more time on less secure networks while working from home. In 2019, at least 966 government agencies, schools and health-care providers were attacked at a cost of more than $7.5 billion, according to the cyber research firm Emsisoft. Among those were almost 90 universities and school districts.
Honda’s car inspection system, used to check defects before shipping and registering car information, wasn’t able to access computers at its plants. The company discovered the issue in the early hours of Monday.

As part of its constant endeavour to make it possible for people “to have conversations in new ways with less pressure and more control”, Twitter has started testing Fleets in India. These self-disappearing tweets will vanish in 24 hours and will not have retweets, likes or public comments. India is among the first markets after Brazil to get this new feature.
We mailed some questions to Twitter’s group product manager Mo Al Adham to learn more about this new feature.
How does Fleets work?
Fleets are a new way to start conversations from your fleeting thoughts. Fleets disappear after 24 hours and don’t get Retweets, Likes, or public replies. Similar to Tweets, Fleets are text-first, but you can also add videos or photos. If you want to reply to a Fleet, tap on it to send a Direct Message or emoji, and continue the conversation in your DMs. Your followers can see your Fleets at the top of their home timeline. And anyone who can see your full profile can find your Fleets there. If you have open DMs, anyone can react to your Fleets. If you have protected Tweets, only people who follow you can see your Fleets at the top of their timeline or by clicking on your profile photo.
What was the idea behind this feature? What problem are you solving here?
Twitter is where people go to see and talk about what’s happening. But, some people tell us that they’re uncomfortable to tweet because tweets are public, feel permanent, and have public counts (Retweets and Likes). There’s also the feeling that a good tweet has to have a lot of likes, RTs, and replies. We want to make it possible for people to have conversations in new ways with less pressure and more control, beyond tweets and Direct Messages. That’s why we are testing Fleets, a new way to start conversations from your fleeting thoughts with no likes, no retweets, no public replies, and no permanence. How have Twitter users in Brazil and Italy reacted to Fleets?
While there is a lot more to learn, we are seeing people become more comfortable about sharing what’s on their minds. People who don’t usually Tweet are starting more conversations and sending both Fleets and Tweets. When people send a Fleet, they often share a number of thoughts rapidly.
What are your expectations from the Indian market?
We are excited to bring Fleets to India. We’re looking to learn how adding a new way to have conversations on Twitter changes the way people in India interact on Twitter, including – are people Tweeting more or less, having more or fewer conversations, and coming back to Twitter to Fleet more or less. We’re focused on seeing how people in India use Fleets and look forward to learning more about its adoption, usage, and changes to the overall behaviour on the service.
Will the product be available for all Indian users?
Fleets will be available for everyone in India on Twitter for iOS and Android in the coming days in updated app versions.
At a time when tweets by public figures are on record, and considered as government communication, how does a feature like this work?
With Fleets, we hope people who are uncomfortable to Tweet feel more comfortable sharing their thoughts. Also, your Fleets are public – everyone can see your Fleets on your profile or at the top of the home timeline if they follow you. Our intention is not to discourage people, institutions, and authorities from exchanging official and critical information.
If people think something is a violation of the Twitter Rules, they can report it to us. We maintain a copy of each Fleet on our servers for a limited time beyond 24 hours to analyse how Fleets are being used and to be able to enforce against Fleets that violate our rules.
The world is suffering from the deadly infection of Coronavirus. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the infection as ‘pandemic’. The early symptoms of this deadly infection are high fever, shortness of breath, tiredness and dry cough. So, the entire world is under lockdown to break the chain of COVID-19 with certain precautionary steps is to be ensured. The contemporary ways to sanitize oneself is the 20 seconds formulae of hand wash or using disinfectant containing at least 60% alcohol, avoid touching surfaces and handshakes and no unnecessary contacts. The use of mask and covering face using napkin or elbow while coughing and disposing the napkin would add an added advantage.
We all know that sanitizer containing good quality alcohol can kill most of the germs, bacteria and viruses including fatal Coronavirus . In a research, it was found that the Coronavirus can survive for 3 days (72 hours approx.) on surfaces like steel or plastic.
Now , the question arises whether any face masks or covering mouth with any cloth helps to prevent Coronavirus from invading our body ?
Firstly, I want to let you know that no mask can provide 100% safety from Corona Virus. There are different types of masks available in market and most common of them are Surgical masks and Respirators.
They act as a barrier to prevent the foreign body from entering our body, but the main difference between them is that Surgical masks are used only to prevent dust particles or large particle droplets that enter through our nose or mouth while Respirators can prevent vapours, airborne microorganisms, fumes or particulate matter that enter through nose or mouth . But as we know that the virus can enter our body through eyes so the person wearing a spectacles or googles can help prevent Covid19 to enter body to some extent . As spectacles or googles are left open from its sides so virus can reach our eyes easily. Hence, it is advised to stay at home and take precautionary steps while stepping out of home. The frontline workers including police, media persons, essential service and sweepers wear face shield along with N95 masks to safeguard themselves.
Surgical masks are mostly used by people who are not into any essential services as these are not designed to protect the wearer from breathing in airborne bacteria or viruses. Coronavirus is smaller than the PM 2.5 cutoff but bigger than some regular dust particles and gases. These masks can be used by a person with weak immune system or suffering from chronic health diseases. Persons dealing with severe respiratory or breathing issues are more prone to get infected from coronavirus, hence it is advisable for the infected person to use face mask as well in order to protect others from getting infected. The use of masks is also recommended to healthy person from getting infected. Surgical masks are of three types-: 2-layered surgical mask , 3-layered surgical mask and 6-layered surgical mask
The protection also depends on the number of layer, more number of layers contribute more protection. A 3-layered mask is better than 2-layered masks, the cost of 3-layered mask is also higher than 2-layered mask. While the 6-layered masks are best till now as it can protect us from some of the viruses but cannot protect from SARS CoV-2 to enter the body This type of mask is loose-fitting and virus can easily enter through the opening sides. And one more drawback is that it is not having any particular side from which a person have to wear it. So as a human it's common to make mistake and use different side to wear while reusing, keeping it anywhere after using can spread risk of virus at that particular place and without knowledge of its proper way of wearing help the virus to enter the body. Also, the outer layer of the mask consists of virus and accidental touching can lead to the novel coronavirus.
As mostly surgical masks tend to be disposable, it get wet due to water vapours generated during respiration, that means they need to be replaced with new mask or washable 6-layered mask, washing it with 60°C hot water with a disinfectant to kill the germs can help in reusing them.
Respirators are used by health professionals as they are having contact with infected person quite often. These are at a risk of getting contaminated by infected person that's why they use it along with face shield to be more secure from the Coronavirus. N95 mask is most common respirator consisting of filters that can prevent 95% i.e 0.3 micron airborne particles. It is a type of mechanical filter respirator and is better than any type of surgical mask. Respirator is tight fitting and have no opening , it protects in a better way. It protects us from most of the viruses which enter from mouth or nose openings but still protects against SARS CoV-2 to small extent. When someone around us coughs or sneezes then the germs or droplets exhaled can stick on a person's clothes or long hair especially in women, so the hair must be covered with a cloth while going out and changing clothes after coming back to home is recommended. For men too keeping a long bushy beard and facial hair are also prone to Corona virus so best way is to avoid going out or to keep short or no beard on face or clean it after every outside tour. It contains valve which releases unfiltered air when the wearer breathes out, hence the spread cannot be stopped just by using respirator.
So along with respirator, using a sanitizer is must, to clean our hands from time to time. A respirator cannot be reused and after a particular time period of usage it becomes difficult for us to breath through it and it indicates the time to replace or dispose after use. Most of the doctors and nurses who are curing the Corona patients use surgical masks, face shield, Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) kits and respirator to get best protection. No doubt, for full day wearing casuse skin irritation and problems especially in the summer season, discomfort due to sweat on the human body, but still to save life and to contribute the nation, the Corona Warriors are doing their best work to keep us safe during this crucial period.
Therefore, for the common people, the best way is isolation and social distancing. Mask is better than no mask. A common man must keep physical distance from everyone and use sanitizers to kill the microorganisms on hands and wrist. Infact if we apply some sanitizer over the mask before using then the germs which stick will be killed at the moment and the mask will be more risk free. And if a person is having any symptoms of COVID-19, then he much contact the health care team or can go to a hospital for checkup. As prevention is better than cure, all things must be kept in mind to fight this virus. If tested positive than he can get cured. Either the person has good immunity or should intake healthy foods for boosting immune system, for example, Citrus fruits, broccoli, garlic, ginger, spinach, curd and almonds are best immunity boosters, drinking plenty of normal water everyday also help in keeping our body fit. Immunity system helps in recovery.
If we, common people maintain social distancing and use just any cloth mask or scarf or just simple 3-layered or 6-layered, it is enough with respect to follow all precautionary measures then there will be no problem as such balefully.
That's why Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Healthy & Stay Fit and the world will soon defeat this Coronavirus.

TikTok's app ratings on Google Play have moved up to 4.4 stars from 1.2 stars surfaced last week. The latest development emerges days after the short videos app faced a public backlash chiefly due to the controversy surrounding a video posted by a popular TikTok user Faizal Siddiqui, with hashtags including #IndiansAgainstTikTok surfacing on social media. Google has passively played an important role in improving the average rating of TikTok on Google Play as it removed millions of one-star ratings due to its comment posting guidelines that clearly allows to remove negative reviews and ratings that account for a mass attack.
Without specifying the case of TikTok, a Google spokesperson said that the company takes a corrective action to remove inappropriate ratings and comments when it considers incidents of spam abuse. “Play Store ratings enable users to provide helpful feedback about their experience with apps and content, for the benefit of others to make informed decisions,” the spokesperson said in a statement emailed to Gadgets 360.
If we compare the current app ratings of TikTok on Google Play from what it had exactly seven days back, there is a drop of roughly 80 lakh ratings. The graph on the Web version of Google Play also shows that there was a massive increase in one-star ratings last week, but a large number of those ratings are no longer live.

A Virginia family out for a ride to get a change of scenery after being holed up due to the coronavirus found nearly USD 1 million in two bags lying in the road.
David and Emily Schantz left their Caroline County home with their children last Saturday and drove their pickup truck over what they thought was a bag of trash, then stopped and picked it up as well as another bag nearby, news sources reported Tuesday. The Schantzes tossed the bags in the back of their pickup truck and kept riding, according to Emily Schantz.
Only when the Schantzes returned home did they discover the bags contained money, she said.
“Inside of the bag, there were plastic baggies and they were addressed with something that said ‘cash vault,’” Schantz told WTVR.
They contacted the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office, which sent deputies to the home. The deputies took inventory and determined the money totalled nearly USD 1 million.
Caroline Sheriff’s Maj. Scott Moser said authorities have since determined where the money was headed, but are still trying to figure out how it ended up in the middle of a road in Goochland County. Moser would not say specifically where the money was going. But he said he hopes the recipients offer the Schantzes a nice reward.
“Their actions deserve nothing less,” Moser said. “They saved someone a lot of money and set a wonderful example for everyone else.”

The Laxminarayan Temple, also known as the Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple up to large extent dedicated to Laxminarayan in Delhi, India. Laxminarayan usually refers to Vishnu, Preserver in the Trimurti, also known as Narayan, when he is with his consort Lakshmi. The temple, inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, was built by Jugal Kishore Birla[1] from 1933 and 1939. The side temples are dedicated to Shiva, Krishna and Buddha.[2]
Temple Administrator Pt. V.K. Mishra told It was the first large Hindu temple built in Delhi. The temple is spread over 7.5 acres, adorned with many shrines, fountains, and a large garden with Hindu and Nationalistic sculptures, and also houses Geeta Bhawan for discourses. The temple is one of the major attractions of Delhi and attracts thousands of devotees on the festivals of Janmashtami and Diwali.
The construction of temple dedicated to Laxmi Narayana started in 1933, built by industrialist and philanthropist, Baldeo Das Birla and his son Jugal Kishore Birla of Birla family, thus, the temple is also known as Birla Temple. The foundation stone of the temple was laid by Jat Maharaj Udaybhanu Singh.[3] The concluding ceremony and Yagna was performed by Swami Keshavanandji.[4] The famous temple is accredited to have been inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1939. At that time, Mahatma Gandhi kept a condition that the temple would not be restricted to the upper-caste Hindus and people from every caste would be allowed inside.[2][5]
Temple Administrator Pt. V.K. Mishra told This is the first of a series of temples built by the Birlas in many cities of India, which are also often called Birla Temple. Its architect was Sris Chandra Chatterjee, a leading proponent of the "Modern Indian Architecture Movement."[6] The architecture was influenced heavily by the principles of the Swadeshi movement of the early twentieth century and the canonical texts used. The movement did not reject the incorporation of new construction ideas and technologies. Chatterjee extensively used modern materials in his buildings.
Temple Administrator Pt. V.K. Mishra told The three-storied temple is built in the northern or Nagara style of temple architecture. The entire temple is adorned with carvings depicting the scenes from golden yuga of the present universe cycle. More than hundred skilled artisans from Benares, headed by Acharya Vishvanath Shastri, carved the icons of the temple. The highest shikhara of the temple above the sanctum sanctorum is about 160 feet high. The temple faces the east and is situated on a high plinth. The shrine is adorned with fresco paintings depicting his life and work. The icons of the temple are in marble brought from Jaipur. Kota stone from Makarana, Agra, Kota, and Jaisalmer was used in the construction of the temple premises. The Geeta Bhawan to the north of the temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. THE 24X7 NEWS
There are many definitions of the term natural, but the consensus seems to be it is something that has been directly obtained from nature; i.e., a plant or mineral. Each time this natural material is processed, it becomes more synthetic—so the fewer processing steps, the more natural something is, and vice versa ... everything can be traced back to nature, so in fact, every material is naturally derived to some extent.
There are many different certifying bodies that measure whether a material conforms to its definition of natural but the most popular certification usually varies from country to country. For the sake of the present article, I will be reviewing a natural product that follows the global natural ISO 16128 standard.
Guerlain’s L’Essential Natural Glow Foundation claims to contain 97% naturally derived ingredients (according to ISO 16128 standards). Additionally, Guerlain touts that the foundation offers a glowing finish on the skin that lasts for 16 hours. The coverage is light to medium but is buildable if higher coverage is desired. Other claims include skin hydration, anti-pollution protection and a reduction in the appearance of imperfections.
The brand recommends, when applying this product, to first pat the face with a clean makeup brush to "awaken" the skin. Then, after a layer of primer, users apply the L’Essential Natural Glow Foundation by depositing it directly on a makeup brush—one drop for light coverage, or two to three drops for medium coverage. Next, dab the foundation onto the face at five points: forehead, nose, chin, and left and right cheeks. The product should then be patted and blended from the center of the face outward until the result is even.
Examining the product’s ingredient list, I have highlighted raw materials that I believe are contributing to the performance claims:
Ingredients: Water (aqua), C9-12 Alkane, Glycerin, Propanediol, Polyglyceryl-6 Polyricinoleate, Silica, Titanium Dioxide [Nano], C15-19 Alkane, VP/Eicosene Copolymer, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Polyglyceryl-2 Isostearate, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Sorbitan Sesquiisostearate, Parfum, Caesalpinia Spinosa Fruit Extract, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide, Sodium Myristoyl Glutamate, Stearic Acid, Sodium Citrate, Xanthan Gum, Alumina, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Cellulose, Potassium Sorbate, Kappaphycus Alvarezii Extract, Polymnia Sonchifolia Root Juice, Citric Acid, Butylene Glycol, Aluminum Hydroxide, Maltodextrin, Lactobacillus, Tocopherol, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Extract, [+/- CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499 (Iron Oxides), CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77947 (Zinc Oxide)].
Editor's note: While the "Read the Label" series provides an overview of the ingredients cosmetic manufacturers use and their related claims, without use levels or access to clinical studies, the author is drawing conclusions based on speculation—albeit from training, formulating experience and, in some instances, evidence in the literature. The following is offered for your consideration and further verification.
C9-12 Alkane (and) Coco-Caprylate/Caprate
This is a natural solvent that also goes by the European INCI name of Coconut Alkanes (and) Coco-Caprylate/Caprate. As the EU INCI name suggests, it comes from coconut oil and is a clear, colorless and odorless solvent. It dries quickly and is a good natural replacement to cyclomethicones D4, D5 and D6.
It was easy to apply, it spread nicely over the face and it blended well into the hairline and neck.'
Glycerin
This is one of those ingredients that most brands use. Whether you're mass market or prestige, it’s a cost-effective material but it works well. When I formulated skin care, I would always add a bit of glycerin—typically 5% but it depends how you want the product to feel on the skin, as adding too much can make your formula feel tacky and sticky.
Glycerin is the third material in the ingredient, list which gives me confidence that the main claim of skin hydration is coming from this material. Glycerin not only works well for hydration, I also have found it helpful as a formulation aid—when mixing xanthan gum into a formula, I would often premix this with glycerin to form a smooth paste and then add it to the water phase to stop agglomeration and lumps from forming.
In this foundation example, and if the pigments are hydrophilic, they could be mixed into glycerin and then added to the formula to, again, prevent any lumps from forming when mixing. To ensure an even distribution of pigments throughout this foundation, homogenization must be carried out, ideally through a triple roller mill.
Propanediol
Usually derived from corn, this is a natural, colorless solvent. Propanediol is a humectant that draws moisture into the skin. Propanediol also has preservation-boosting properties, which means in some cases you can lower the percentage of preservative used in products and still achieve safe challenge test results. As most preservatives are synthetic, adding a natural preservative booster like propanediol and lowering your level of preservative is a way the formulator can increase the natural content within a formula according to the ISO 16128 standard rules.
Polyglyceryl-6 Polyricinoleate (and) Polyglyceryl-2 Isostearate (and) Disteardimonium Hectorite
This is an emulsifier I have used before in the lab. It is a w/o emulsifier that’s designed for use in formulas that contain little or no silicone. What I liked about this emulsifier was that you could get lots of different textures from it—anything from a thin, stable emulsion with excellent suspension like this foundation, to rich creams and lotions—just by increasing the concentration. Using it in cold process formulations may save on production costs and, in turn, lessen environmental impact.
Titanium Dioxide [Nano]
This is the main inorganic SPF filter used in this product. It’s a nano grade, to avoid a whitening effect on the skin. Many natural certifying bodies will not allow the use of nano materials, so it’s interesting to see that this is okay per ISO 16128 standards. The material does come from naturally derived sources but it is synthetically treated to remove impurities.
The other inorganic pigments used within the formula will contribute slightly, to give a higher SPF rating. An important thing to note here is that on the ingredients list, titanium dioxide is listed twice—once as an SPF ingredient (titanium dioxide [nano]) and once as a colorant (CI 77891). This is because two different grades are being used. One has a small particle size, i.e., the nano grade; and the other is used to provide color in the foundation and has a larger particle size. For decorative cosmetic products marketed in several color shades, all colorants used in the range (other than those intended to color the hair) may be listed according to their color index (CI) number.
VP/Eicosene Copolymer
This water-resistant film former I strongly believe is contributing to the 16-hour claim on this foundation. It’s oil soluble and is commonly used in color cosmetics and sunscreens to improve wear and to reduce transfer resistance. This material can help with pigment dispersion and is known to boost SPF when combined with organic filters.
Parfum
It’s interesting to me that this foundation contains fragrance but I expect nothing less from the Guerlain fragrance house. I have used a mascara from Guerlain before (Cils d'Enfer So Volume) that had a rose scent, which was an unusual but pleasant surprise. On Guerlain’s website, it states this foundation contains a musky wood fragrance with a white almond top note. The middle note contains white tea and the base note is sandalwood.
While the product is still wet, it does smell like any other foundation I’ve used; i.e., that typical iron oxide smell. Once the product dries, though, the fragrance is much more noticeable although not overpowering. It is slightly powdery and the subtle musk aroma makes my face feel clean.

No one wears an offbeat outfit better than Soo Joo Park. The model’s ability to take on tricky-to-pull-off trends has made her an essential part of both classically-minded Chanel shows, and kitschy Jeremy Scott runway presentations. Off-duty, Park’s wardrobe is the stuff of dreams, brimming with one-of-a-kind Chanel pieces, vintage sourced from around the globe, and an excess of statement accessories. Under normal circumstances, such bold fashion would be captured by street style photographers, but since the COVID-19 crisis began, Park has taken her eclectic approach to dressing indoors.
Currently at home in her New York apartment, the South Korea-born, California-raised model relies on uplifting colors and quality materials to stay comfortable. “I’m trying to keep my spirit up by wearing lots of pastel tones and bright shades,” Park shared with Vogue via email. “I only wear fabrics that stretch or are soft and luxurious to lounge all day in.” Her guidelines allow for variety—as long as there’s no denim. “Since the third day of quarantine, I haven’t touched any jeans,” she says. “They are usually my go-to.” Here, Park offers a recap of a week’s worth of looks, from breezy silk dresses to Zoom-worthy costume jewelry.
THE 24X7 NEWS
The idea of staging runway shows during global COVID-19-related lockdowns might seem impossible, but instead of giving up hope, the fashion industry is envisioning new ways to communicate in a time of crisis. This morning, the British Fashion Council announced a new version of London Fashion Week that will occur during the previously scheduled dates for London Fashion Week: Men’s of June 12 to June 14, 2020. Instead of physical shows, London Fashion Week will be entirely digital, with content rolling out on londonfashionweek.co.uk.
Caroline Rush, the chief executive of the British Fashion Council, said in a release, “by creating a cultural fashion week platform, we are adapting digital innovation to best fit our needs today and something to build on as a global showcase for the future. Designers will be able to share their stories, and for those that have them, their collections, with a wider global community; we hope that as well as personal perspectives on this difficult time, there will be inspiration in bucket-loads. It is what British fashion is known for.”
The types of content that might appear on LFW’s site could range from a digital lookbook to a brand video to a written-out designer Q&A or even a podcast. The diversity of the offering will be related to what designers are able to produce during self-isolation, and will also reflect a new strain of branding, marketing, and communication that has taken hold during the pandemic. Instagram Lives, social media posts, Zoom conferences, and direct-to-consumer e-tail have only become more integral to fashion brands during this lockdown period, showing that direct engagement with customers and fans is more essential than ever—especially if the stories shared come with a letting down of one’s guard. If fashion was once considered an exclusive industry, the quickness with which it has adapted to low-key, digital communication, like kitchen table livestreams and fan-submitted Q&As, has proven it to be highly adaptive and inclusive.
The LFW digital platform will also contain virtual showrooms, as per a release, that will help connect brands with retailers, adding a business component to the week. Rush also said, “It is essential to look at the future and the opportunity to change, collaborate and innovate. Many of our businesses have always embraced London Fashion Week as a platform for not just fashion but for its influence on society, identity, and culture. The current pandemic is leading us all to reflect more poignantly on the society we live in and how we want to live our lives and build businesses when we get through this. The other side of this crisis, we hope will be about sustainability, creativity, and product that you value, respect, cherish.”

I am Mridula Oberoi hail from Pathankot Punjab. I am post graduate in Computers. In past have served in education sector and banking sector. Presently I am actress which is my passion turned into profession.
1. What is That You Do?
I am an actress who aims to entertain and inspire people.
2. What are you passionate about ( a particular art etc )
I am surly passionate about life. But if you ask about a particular art .. It’s is surly “Acting” and “Interacting with people.”
3. What struggles did you face
Frankly I don’t ever use this word struggle at all. Life has different phases. Sometimes good and sometimes it may be bad and sometimes it may be suffocating or miserable... But that’s how life is.. A blend of all season😄
I think it’s the thought process, how we humans think and take it ahead.
4. Could you describe in brief the entire journey of your passion ( right from what inspired you to choose your passion, choosing your passion, struggles that arose, how did you overcome the struggles, to till date
Long story short ..
What Inspired me is really a difficult question but yes what I remember is from my childhood days I was very fascinated by screen and always imagined myself there but never ever said that to anyone. Not even to my parents. So it was always there in my subconscious mind. And finally it came to me so strongly. So I think I was not deliberately giving this energy to the Universe but surly it was getting transferred to it and it came back to me ☺..You can say this was my hidden desire 😊.
So it all started in year 2016 when I out of no where I filled an online form for Mrs India Earth. Got selected in finale, earned a title of Mrs India Earth Face Of North 2016. And I never realised that from an educationist to a banker will ever become a model and finally an actress .
Again there were basically no struggles but surly since I was new in this profession so figuring out genuine people in the market was a big task. But then it is rightly said “Where there is a will, there is a way.”
So I was focused and clear of what I have to do and God kept on guarding me and guiding me all my way till date . And I can’t forget to mention my family who’s been always so supportive and have stood by me. my husband believes in me more than him and that my biggest strength.

If you have taken ur passion as your professional what inspired to do so
I believe people who get to live there passion as profession are lucky ones. So I am one of them. And what inspires me in doing it, will be my father always.. He taught me whatever you choose to do in your life always do it with your complete heart and soul. So I have always tried to give my 100% to whatever profession I have served in.
And how could I not justify my being when I m blessed to work in my passion turned into profession.

But I always felt that I was a misfit to the society I was in. So I always used to talk less and socially move around very less.
Now when I look back and think what made me feel different was my thought process where I was never ready to settle in life in what I had . Always felt there is much more I deserve and I can do in life. Always has a larger picture in my canvas of life and today here I am ... Working in the Industry since 2107, settled well.. worked in almost 20 commercials which includes International Campaigns like Singapore Tourism, Three Movies, More than 10 serials, Webseries and Bollywood films.

NEW DELHI: Soon after procuring rapid antibody test kits, the Delhi government on Sunday began testing people for coronavirus in various containment zones spread across the city, officials said. Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain on Saturday said the AAP government has acquired 42,000 such kits.
The rapid antibody tests were initiated in Delhi on Sunday for all the containment zones across the national capital, the officials said.
The number of containment zones in Delhi on Saturday had increased to 76, with eight new zones being added in various areas in one day.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the national capital on Saturday climbed to 1893, with 186 fresh cases and one death being reported in a day, according to the Delhi government authorities.
Two kinds of diagnostic tests are being currently prescribed for use in India -- the RT-PCR test and rapid antibody test -- as per global health norms.
A reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test is a laboratory technique combining reverse transcription of RNA into DNA that detects the virus while the antibody tests, which use blood, detect the body's response to the virus.
In rapid antibody test, the result will be positive only if the antibodies have been generated. So, even if a person is infected but the antibodies are not generated, the result will come negative.
RT-PCR test takes time and is a costly affair, because of its elaborate kit. On the other hand, the rapid antibody test is less expensive and the result can come in 20-30 minutes, experts said.
Rapid antibody tests are generally used in hotspots where the infection is found concentrated in a given area.
A hotspot is a zone from where a large number of positive cases are reported.
Of the total number of 43 fatalities reported in Delhi till Saturday, 24 of the deceased were above 60 years, making over 55 per cent of the total death cases, the authorities said.
Nine of them were aged between 50 and 60 years, and 10 were aged less than 50 years, officials said.
Meanwhile, 31 members of an extended family, including children, residing in north Delhi's Jahangirpuri area, a portion of which has been declared a containment zone, have tested positive for Covid-19, the officials said.
The civic authorities have carried out mass sanitisation and disinfection drive in hotspot areas in the past several days using drones and other measures.
Door-to-Door surveillance activities are being carried out in identified cluster containment zones, and a total of 1,047 samples have been collected from different clusters and sent for testing, the officials said.

THE 24X7 NEWS
From foundation pens to ballpoints, neon highlighters and mechanical pencils, we all love stationery, but why?
Perhaps it’s the back-to-school, comforting feeling that you’ve got your life somewhat organised or the endless creative possibilities that come when you’re armed with a beautiful new pen and a pristine pad of paper.
It makes sense then that the beauty world should tap into a concept that promises to unleash your artistic potential.
An industry that loves itself a bit of nostalgia, cosmetic brands have started taking inspiration from the stationery cupboards of our school days. Remember those four-colour retractable pens, where you clicked down each shade? Well, there’s now a makeup version of that.
A product that wouldn’t look out of place in your pencil case, Benefit’s latest launch, the Brow Contour Pro, is arguably the brand’s most genius invention yet.
The pen takes the same concept as the novelty school supply and applies it to your beauty routine by replacing the barrels of ink with four different shades of soft pencil.
Available in five different shades, each pen contains a lighter shade, deeper shade, highlighter and definer to help you carve out and contour your brows.
Earlier this year, Clarins also launched a similar product with a multi-functional pen that contains three colours of eyeliner and a lip liner.
Depending on the type of look you’re going for there are three different versions to choose from. Harmony 1 includes black, blue and green eyeliners, as well as a deep nude lip liner, while Harmony 2 offers a more classic look with black, grey and brown eyeliners, and a bold red lip liner to finish.
A summer version called Miami is also available with black, turquoise and plum eye liner, and a bright pink lip liner.
The beauty world’s obsession with back-to-school staples doesn’t stop there though. Launching exclusively on Asos in June, Crayola introduced its very own cosmetics range inspired by its line of brightly coloured crayons.
Offering an impressive 58-pieces, which are all vegan, the range includes everything from face crayons and cheek crayons to colour-changing lip crayons, highlighters and mascaras available in a total of 95 shades.
Even better, the colour names are all taken from shades of Crayola crayons including Fuzzy Wuzzy, a dusty rose, Tumbleweed, a cool beige, and Outer Space, a metallic slate blue.
